Frequently Asked Questions
How is Forest Remedies Hemp CBD Oil different from other hemp oils?
We're so happy you asked. We know there are a lot of CBD products out there, and trying to decide on the best one for you can be confusing.
At Forest Remedies, you can always trust you're getting premium quality hemp-derived CBD oil made from plants cultivated without pesticides. Instead, we partner with farmers that use regenerative farming practices to minimize their impact on the environment and create a cleaner end product. From there, we use expert extraction methods that retain more of the plant's natural, beneficial qualities.
Every finished batch is third-party lab tested for safety, purity and potency. The end result is pure hemp-derived CBD oil packed with naturally occurring phytocannabinoids to help enhance your everyday health and wellness.*
What's the difference between your Hemp CBD Oils and your Hemp CBD Soft Gels?
It's really all about personal preference.
When it comes to benefits, our high-quality hemp oils and soft gels both help support your everyday health and wellness and may promote a sense of calm and focus.* That aside, how you take them is different.
Here's how:
Our Hemp CBD Oils are dispensed with a dropper and can be taken alone or added to food and beverages. We offer three different flavors, natural, vanilla, and mint, each available in either 1000mg or 500mg strength. Since you're just pulling oil from a bottle, the dropper gives you a little more flexibility with the amount you're taking and how you're consuming it. For example, you can add it to your coffee, morning smoothie or take it alone.
With our Hemp CBD Soft Gels, each one delivers 30mg of CBD, so you always get a uniform dose. Plus, they're essentially flavorless. If you want to take your Hemp CBD that same way you take your vitamins, our soft gels are the way to go.

What are phytocannabinoids? How do they act on the body?
Phytocannabinoids are natural compounds found in some species of plants including hemp. Phytocannabinoids, such as cannabidiol, act on the body by interacting with specific receptors. These receptors make up the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and are located throughout the body in connective tissues, organs, nerves, immune cells, the nervous system and beyond. Receptors allow cells in the body to receive and process information, which translates into a biological response.
Current research suggests that our ECS is vital to regulating numerous physical and cognitive processes and maintaining homeostasis. In other words, your ECS helps your body stay balanced, and phytocannabinoids may have the potential to compensate for endocannabinoid deficiencies and produce therapeutic responses.
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a signaling system of receptors and molecules distributed throughout the body. Cannabinoids are not only produced by plants (in this case, they are named phytocannabinoids). Our body can also make cannabinoids.
From the word “endogenous,” meaning from within, endocannabinoids and the receptors they and phytocannabinoids bind to, make up the ECS.
Cannabinoids can act differently at the same receptor or bind to different receptors to produce varying effects. As an area of ongoing biomedical research, understanding of the ECS and the role it plays in health and disease continues to expand.
